The appropriate wheel selection is a question of cutting quality, money and time. The abrasive particle removal of a softer bonded wheel is higher than that of a hard bonded wheel. The time-per-cut process also depends on the abrasive bonding of the wheel. Choosing the appropriate wheel is usually a matter of time, quality and money. Table 1 displays the recommended abrasive wheels for various ferrous materials, and their related parameters for the AbrasiMatic™ 300 equipped with 12 in (305 mm) abrasive wheels.

Forkner’s KX250 is outfitted with 49mm Showa works forks that are Kashima-coated and have a turquoise tint and wider axle lugs for more steering accuracy. Inside are 27mm cartridge tubes, replacing the old-school 25mm units. As works forks go, they are fairly standard issue. And while you can’t actually duplicate them, the latest version of Showa A-kit forks can be ordered for $9500. Pro Circuit uses the coil-spring version but with air assist. A close look at the fork cap reveals three adjuster screws. The first adjusts the compression damping. The second can be used to add or subtract air to change the feel of the fork spring. The third is for a sensor to feed back electronic data about what is happening to the fork. Since we had elected to mount Forkner’s outdoor fork on the bike, it was actually ridable by normal humans. In fact, when the MXA test riders complained about certain sections of the track, Bones made a few quick adjustment to bring the forks into compliance. Nice stuff, but we can’t imagine what the price tag might be.

Chan adds that the additional supply of long products from Alliance Steel in Kuantan, if not restricted to the export market, could pose a threat to local players. “I wouldn’t be too surprised if Alliance Steel is the most cost-efficient steel player in Malaysia due to its state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, economies of scale and technical expertise. I think the new government should strictly enforce Alliance Steel’s focus on the export market to protect the domestic steel market.”

This top steel company should continue to do very well if the economy sees continued strength this year and nonresidential construction grows. Nucor Corp. (NYSE: NUE) is one of North America’s largest steel producers, with almost 27 million tons of finished steel capacity at 23 mini-mills throughout the United States. The company’s downstream steel products business includes rebar fabrication, steel joists/deck, cold finished bars, fasteners, building systems and wire mesh. Nucor also has 5 million tons of scrap processing capacity.

The other side of this challenge is stability. When you zoom out very far to focus on something, the picture becomes extremely sensitive to small movements. A tripod is almost required in these applications because it gives you the stability to keep your target in view.

You are assuming that the enemy forces are inclined to evacuate the dead and wounded. In some cases, they may just leave them on the field when they withdraw or, if wounded, kill them.
